Located in a historic building that is just 5 minutes’ walk from Union Square, Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel Union Square boasts a rooftop restaurant, a library, a gym with indoor pool and a 564 seat on-site theatre. All spacious guest rooms include free WiFi.
A cable LCD TV, a refrigerator and deluxe guest robes are provided in each guest room at Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel Union Square. Guest rooms also include an in-room safe, free daily newspapers and free local calls.
Guests can dine or enjoy a drink at the on-site Chesty's Bar and Grill.
Guests have free access to the unique “Living Memorial” museum at the hotel. The entire building is a tribute to veterans who gave their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces. I had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to start the day right. The location was perfect, close to key attractions and easy to access. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, although it felt a bit old. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable.

Value for money Hotel. We missed the breakfast, so not sure how is it. Overall very comfortable. Hotel staffs are friendly, allowed me to store my luggages for 2 days.

Everything!! From the impressive lobby full of so many moments celebrating our Heros, to the incredible friendly staff, it was wonderful. 2 blocks from Union Square, a big room complete with fridge, coffee maker, robes, everything you could need. The restaurant and bar were great and the full breakfast (included with your room), was hot, plentiful with many options to suit all individual tastes. Well done Everyone and we can't wait to be back.

Location was really good near to the Union square and BART station . It was like a 10 minutes walk. The hotel was clean, looked sophisticated, and a marvellous dedication to the armed forces . No homeless people around like the other part of the cities . Definitely should stay here

Everything was perfect! The location, the breakfast (especially on Thanksgiving Day), check in (we could check in at midday). Wonderful view from our room on 9 floor.

The history of the hotel being the US Marines Club as well as their hotel. The Breakfast The rate included breakfast consisting of a full hot buffet breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and a table service menu the rest of the week. Only lyricism would be buffet could have been hotter. Happy hour where drinks were free between 4 and 6 daily. Friendly staff at reception, doorman, bar and room service. Great position on corner of Mason and Sutter so close to Union Square and Cable Cars. Upgrade to King bed. Highlight meeting the two British Bulldog mascots of the Marine Corp. called Betty and Brutus and of course Troy their carer 🙂
