The location is on the main road van Ness road well connected by bus and metro ( though the metro station is far but buses connect to it ). . Room is small but fine. Decent breakfast

Everything! Great location, and so close to the Golden Gate Bridge only 2 miles away! And everything nearby pier 39 only 15 min away.Book the bay room with a view if you can, we got such a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay! (A pic of the bridge from my room attached) highly recommend.

Location was great. Walk to pier and bridge. Bus routes at door step to downtown and beyond. Walking around the area felt a lot safer than downtown. 6th floor room gave great view of bridge. Staff friendly and informative. Breakfast was great. Room quiet and clean. Stored our luggage free of charge at end of our stay. Fast lifts. All day coffee and water refill station. For affordable and great eats, Chicos pizza and Berry Coffee over the road were both awesome.

The 'Comfort Inn By the Bay' is a great name for this hotel because the beds are very comfortable and the room was very luxurious. I loved the breakfast especially the waffles and Jean down in reception is very nice and friendly.

The room and the hotel overall was super clean. It has a beautiful view which most of the hotels in that area do not have. It is also located in a very good area for tourists to visit places like Lombard street, Pier 39, Ghirardelli plaza. With nice weather these places are in walking distance.

Easy walking distance to the fisherman’s wharf area, great view of the bridge and bay and Alcatraz island, breakfast was awesome, and hotel staff very welcoming.

The location was just perfect and the staff went above and beyond to help us out. Breakfast also a bonus specially the self making waffles. Room was kept very clean and looked after the whole of our stay.
