This Pacific Grove property is located steps from Asilomar State Beach. The property offers basic guest rooms spread throughout 30 buildings and an outdoor swimming pool.
Asilomar Conference Grounds features a private bathroom in every guest room. No telephones, TVs or microwaves are included in the guest rooms. Some buildings feature common living rooms with fireplaces and sitting areas.
Guests can use the business center or dine in the on-site restaurant at the Asilomar Grounds. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available for purchase on site.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is within a 5-minute drive of the Asilomar Conference Grounds. Monterey Peninsula College is also near the hotel.

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was just wonderful. Clean and with a nice view. We did not stay for dinner or breakfast so don’t have an opinion for this.

Extremely peaceful setting surrounded by tall pine trees, sand dunes, and a beautiful, rugged coastline. The architecture is all wood and stone, designed especially for this magical, natural site. The room was very spacious, and there was a nice shared sitting area/lounge with a fireplace in many of the lodges, including ours. Peaceful brick-paved walking paths wind through the woods, as well as amazing boardwalk pathways through the dunes leading to the beach. Trails along the coastline are extensive, with inspiring views all along the way. This is an incredibly special property!

This place is a true gem, right by the sea with direct access to the beach set in amazing grounds. We only didn’t 1 night here but wished we’d had more. The main hall was a great social area with pool tables and open fires. The onsite cafe is lovely with nice food. All the staff were friendly. Good parking
