Surrounded by lush farmland, The Bellum is situated on the Limestone Coast at the base of the Mt Schank volcanic crater and only 13km south of Mount Gambier.
All rooms have a microwave, flat-screen TV, fan, heater, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge, towels and a private bathroom and shower. The rooms access a secure and enclosed outdoor area with a small garden.
The property has a front bar with an open fire, lounge area with combustion heater, TVs, a bottle shop and an ATM.
The hotel is open from Tuesday to Saturday 12pm until late and on Sunday from 12pm until 6pm. The hotel is closed on Mondays.
The Bellum is located near many popular cave diving and snorkeling sites, including Kilsby Sinkhole, Little Blue Lake, coastal beaches, conservation parks and hiking trails.
