Resort Overview
Set in Mahébourg, 1 km from Pointe d'Esny Beach, Preskil Island Resort offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We love everything! After reading the negative reviews regarding the food, we were a little sceptical, however it was great! We went All inclusive. (AL).Food - Great selection of foods and drinks. If you wanted the expensive drinks then you have to pay but that’s normal in some places. 3 restaurants, one isn’t included in AL, the other one is mixture, only some AL options (reservation only) and the 3rd served everything and all included in AL. We tried all 3 restaurants. Lunch was a little slow going, we would go to the bar, get our drinks first then sit for lunch. After each meal you have to sign your bill receipt and room number even with the AL option. Entertainment started at 9pm - good mix from dancers, singers pianists and local Mauritian musical instruments. Room - We upgraded to a sea view room on arrival. Best decision! Lovely rooms. You can choose a beach access room or just sea view. We stayed in room 4126 with balcony with no beach access. Close to the restaurant. Beach - Just beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and clear! Bring your snorkelling gear… also the hotel provides glass bottom boat and snorkelling if you go AL option. Beach boys are so helpful and warming… Be careful, the sun is HOT! wear a hat..Pool - Aqua at 11:30am good fun and great music. Staff - Friendly, polite and helpful… Stevan on arrival, Very helpful and Jean at the bar… Beach seller - Maria, a ray of sunshine!! I will miss her saying good morning beautiful… bought a lovely Hat beach cover up and bracelets. Hotel doctor - Good - had to have a call out (3500R) as I had a reaction to something, maybe the mosquitos when leaving the hotel or could have been the sunshine… face went a little swollen, was fine after a few days (prescribed tables and cream) pharmacy 1km away from the hotel. We like to tip after a good service (between 100 - 200 R) it’s not expected but it’s nice when the staff go that extra mile for you! A few £ goes along way if we all did it.

Every single staff had a smile on their faces and were so so kind. The room was so spacious and clean. Entertainment every night and the children in the kids' club were very happy as we could see them walking around in groups going to their activities. The food was amazing and great great service. We were well looked after. They have a lot of activities we had options to go to. The catamaran cruise was amazing!

We were at Preskil only for one night, and unfortunately the weather wasn't very good, so hadn't change to try out all the facilities and services. The pool and the little beach were nice though.

Great location with beautiful views of the sea and mountain. The rooms were very clean and modern. The pool was great to swim in and you had an option of the sea right there. The staff were all excellent and always smiling. All in all an exceptional experience and great value for money.

Very nice location close the airport and to Mahébourg. Beautiful hôtel with nice beach and momountain view. The junior suite is just amazing. Very Nice personel and good restaurants.
