The regular hotspot for street performers is Cuba Street, where you could see anything from gals with guitars to comical clowns and fire twirling types. But don’t spend all your change. Abracadabra with Cadbury World’s week-long session of events in Dunedin from 13–16 July. At the Wall Street Mall, a magician gives free 30-minute shows to entertain all ages. Better yet, move onto Speight’s beer brewery and partake in a beer and chocolate matching session. A few of those and you’ll be levitating over to the Mercure Hotel Dunedin, a restored Victorian boutique hotel host to past grand magicians.
