A holiday in Fiji will keep even the fussiest of family members happy – there is something for everyone. Suva, the capital city and main business and commercial hub is located on the main island of Viti Levu. International flights land at Nadi and Lautoka is the main sea port. Many cruise ships include Fiji on their South Pacific Island cruises. Travel between the islands by seaplane, local commercial airines such as Fiji Air, or take an inexpensive ferry ride.
Most mainland resorts are found on the Coral Coast which runs along the south of the main island. The best beaches and resorts are found on the outer islands such as the Mamanuca or Yasawa Island groups. You can choose to stay in airconditioned resort luxury or a thatched bure on the beach, in resorts ranging from budget backpackers to 5 star luxury.

Qantas, Air Pacific and Pacific Blue seem to be re-vamping their schedules and adding extra services so Fiji should become even more easily accessible from your nearest capital city.
