Love the atmosphere and antique furniture. The back story of the hotel was a fun bonus to learn about. We spent the evening in the bar lounge. Super comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. Easy walk to literally everything.

The whole experience of staying at Craig's Royal Hotel was amazing. My room was fantastic, they kept as close to period as they possibly could and l just loved travelling up and down in the gorgeous old fashioned lift with the ladies voice telling me to close both doors on entering and leaving. Everywhere you looked was history, there was a detailed history in your room. The only thing that surprised me a bit but suited me was they had pokies. For me it meant if the weather was lousy l didn't have to leave Craig's.
