Hotel Overview
Il Girasole offers panoramic views of Anacapri and the Gulf of Naples from its sun terrace with swimming pool. It is a 5-minute walk from the bus station, providing connections to the Faro Beach and Capri’s main attractions.
Upon request, the hotel offers a shuttle service to/from the ferry harbour on the days of arrival and departure. The centre of Anacapri is 15 minutes away on foot.
Rooms at Hotel Il Girasole come with air conditioning, WIFI, satellite TV and minibar. They have a private bathroom with hairdryer, and some also offer sea or garden views.
Free Wi-Fi is available at the 24-hour reception, where friendly staff can provide tourist information. The on-site snack bar serves light lunches and fresh drinks, by the pool and on the terrace with sofas.

The view, grounds, and general ambience was beautiful and tranquil. We loved relaxing at the pool area after a day of exploring. The breakfast was also excellent, with much variety (and excellent cappuccino!)

The hotel has a spectacular view of the sea and sunset and the terrace is filled with very nice flowers and decor. We loved how it’s not organized on floors so you’re always just a door away from being outside. Really nice breakfast and very helpful staff who offered transport to and from the port.

The property location was great located in Anacapri rather than the busy central Capri. The bus was only a 300 meter walk with options to go into capri or to the beaches. Anacapri had a great vibe and many options of restaurants to choose from. The sunset view is unbeatable and the pool and pool area is a great place to unwind. The staff were great and very accomodating, they were prompt and attentive to our needs even addressing an initial issue with room on our 1st night. The arranged hotel transfers to and from the ferry and happily recommended places to go and booked boat tours on our behalf.

Amazing hotel, the staff were so lovely and made the stay perfect. Lots to do around the island and the hotel is only a few minutes away from the bus station and not far from Anacapri centre

Whilst the hotel was a bit away (15 minutes walk) from Anacapri town we soon got used to it. We found the environment very restful. Staff were friendly.
