The Augusta Visitor Centre is the southern flagship of the Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association and winner of the 2008 Australian Tourism Award for Visitor Information and Services.

Located in one of the world’s most exciting tourism destinations the visitor centre provides an extensive information and booking service for accommodation, tours, attractions and events.

Augusta boasts superb views of both the Blackwood River and Southern Ocean and provides a wide range of water-based activities including whale watching from June to September. On your visit don’t forget to book a tour to the breathtakingly beautiful Lake, Jewel and Mammoth Caves and the striking Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, mainland Australia’s tallest lighthouse and the dramatic meeting point of the Southern and Indian Oceans.

The Balingup Tourist Information Centre is situated on the corner of Brockman Street and Blackwood River Drive in the Balingup Community Centre building.

It is open seven days a week between the hours of 11am and 3pm.

The Beverley Information Centre is run by the Beverley Community Development Association and is a volunteer operated tourist information service. The centre is located at the Beverley Aeronautical Museum in Vincent Street, Beverley.

The centre is open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 12:30pm Saturday and 9am to 4pm Sunday and provides friendly information on attractions, events, accommodation, services and community contacts in Beverley.

The Boddington Tourist Information Centre is the first place you should visit on your adventures in Boddington and surrounding areas.

The centre is located in the Boddington Old School Complex and is open seven days a week including most public holidays.

The Boyup Brook Tourist Information Centre is located on the corner of Bridge and Abel Streets, Boyup Brook. It is home to the famous Carnaby Beetle and Butterfly Collection which is reported to be the largest collection of Jewel Beetles in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Tourist Information Centre has displays of crafts including: soaps, knitted garments, collectables plus many more. They also have a small gallery located in the Tourist Centre building with art work from local artists.

The Broome Visitor Centre is located in the town of Broome, which is set between a vast red desert and azure blue sea, alongside a pure white beach.

In December 2006 a new Visitor Centre was opened and this spacious centre is recognised as providing high quality visitor servicing through its presentation of first-class information, free visitor booking service and automated online reservation system all from first class specialists who are keen to share their love of this beautiful area.

The Broome Visitor Centre is open 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Bunbury Visitor Centre is in the vibrant city of Bunbury, which is situated on a peninsula almost entirely surrounded by water.

The Central Greenough Historic Settlement Visitor Centre is located 20 kilometres south of Geraldton (approximately 15 minutes) on the corner of Brand Highway and McCartney Road, Greenough. Open daily from 9am with the last tour at 4:15pm.

The Chittering Visitor Centre is situated on the Great Northern Highway in Bindoon. They have information on wine and sculpture trails, accommodation, attractions, gifts, local produce and souvenirs.

Situated at the western gateway to Collie, the comfortable and modern Collie River Valley Visitor Centre is the terminus for coach lines, offers long bay car parking for caravans and is within walking distance of the town centre.

The Coolgardie Visitor Centre is located on Bayley Street and has a lot to offer including: a three-dimensional layout of the old Coolgardie town, stories of collections/old buildings, images and a photo gallery. A museum upstairs was opened in Easter 1977 at its current location and in the Old Court room you will find Australia’s premier bottle collection that began in 1954.

Coolgardie Visitor Centre also offers a booking service for visitors needing to travel by Transwa and Great Southern Railways. Qantas flights can also be booked for those of you travelling via Kalgoorlie to Perth or Adelaide.

Advice on local road conditions can also be provided should you wish to visit a number of natural attractions such as the Gnarlbine Soaks, Victoria Rocks or Rowle’s Lagoon.

Coolgardie Visitor Centre is open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 3pm weekends and public holidays.

The Corrigin Community Resource Centre is a friendly, local, community centre equipped with high tech facilities, access to training, government services and information. They are located in the heart of town, next to the Shire of Corrigin office building. This modern, spacious building provides fantastic facilities to the general public.

The centre is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except public holidays. Entry is from Lake Crescent with plenty of off-road parking.

Arguably the central attraction in the Shire, you shouldn’t leave without visiting the Cunderdin Tourist Info Centre and Museum. The centre is a fantastic tribute to the largely volunteer workforce that has toiled for the last few decades to bring the museum to its current form.

With the ongoing support of the National Trust and a recent State Government grant the museum has undergone an upgrade with a new, and very impressive interpretive centre housed in the old pump house.

The No 3 Steam Pumping Station is now full of information, memorabilia and photographs of its fascinating history. The museum also boasts what has been described as one of the best displays of farm equipment anywhere in the country.

The museum also does a brilliant job of bringing to life the history not only of the Cunderdin-Meckering area but of the Wheatbelt as a whole, with its diverse range of memorabilia, photographs, story boards and household items.

The Dalwallinu Tourist Information Centre, once located across the highway where Landmark is now situated, can be found on Johnston Street at the picturesque Memorial Park. The centre also displays arts and crafts in the old court house.

The world’s largest barometer is located within the Denmark Visitor Centre. It was donated by Bert and Ethne Bolle to the community of Denmark WA and erected in the Denmark Visitor Centre tower. Access is free.

The Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre is run by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley and is located at the entrance to Fitzroy Crossing Library and Shire Offices.

The Halls Creek Visitors Centre is centrally located adjacent to the Halls Creek Community Resource Centre on the Great Northern Highway. It is open from April to November and closed during the wet season (December to March). Opening hours are normally 8am to 4:30pm commencing in April.

The Kambalda Tourist Information Centre and Telecentre are located on the corner of Emu Rocks and Marianthus Road, Kambalda West. Kambalda’s Tourist Information Centre provides travellers with a useful pamphlet covering local attractions, accommodation, and a range of facilities to serve tourists needs.

For those of you travelling by public transport, the centre is also a licensed travel agent and can arrange bookings for airfares, Transwa and Greyhound Australia bus services. These bus services link through to Kalgoorlie, Esperance and points between Perth and the eastern states.

The Kambalda Telecentre provides access to the Internet and has photocopying and faxing facilities. Travellers can also arrange to have email sent to them at the Telecentre.

The centre is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.

The Karratha Visitor Centre is located in Karratha, the gateway to the Pilbara in Australia’s North West.

The Katanning Tourist Information Centre is housed in the Old Mill building. The centre is staffed by volunteers and is open 10am to 4pm weekdays and 10am to 12pm on Saturday mornings. Visitors can talk to the friendly staff, find out about the town and sights of interest and check out the roller flour mill museum.

The roller flour mill was one of the first industries in Katanning and has a special place in the town’s history. The mill was built by the Piesse family in late 1800s and continued to operate up until 1977. Much of the milling equipment is still on site.

The Mingenew Visitor Centre is on the corner of Midlands Road and Victoria Street, in the centre of town, amongst amenities such as; Cecil Newton Park, the skate park, the local bakery, IGA store, NAB, post office and Telecentre. Parking areas are located opposite the centre and at rear, in front of the public conveniences.

The centre has an extensive range of local crafts and produce for sale, as well as plenty of maps, brochures and information booklets showcasing the town and region. Of particular interest is the Wildflower Country magazine, the “bra wall” and their supply of locally produced lupin flour.

Volunteers at the centre are enthusiastic community members, with local knowledge and a passion for their community, and will be happy to assist in any way.

Mingenew is a fantastic rural community, located only 383 kilometres north of Perth, about a half hour drive to the coast and 91 kilometres to the regional centre – Geraldton.

The Mount Barker Visitor Centre occupies the renovated railway building and like the rest of the town, offers spectacular views to the Porongurup Range National Park and the Stirling Ranges.

The Mount Magnet Tourist Information Centre is located on Hepburn Street in the historic Ambulance Hall and is run by volunteers from the Tourist Committee.

The centre offers visitors information, brochures and maps of Mount Magnet and the spectacular sites that are a must-see when visiting the region. Information is also available for the surrounding Shires and towns for those continuing their tour around the Mid West region.

The centre also offers visitors great art and craft displays, historical photo displays and a unique collection of aboriginal art from the area.

Internet access is available from the tourist information centre, a great first port-of-call for tourists.

The centre is open week days during the wildflower season, from April to October.

The Mullewa Tourist Information Centre is your one-stop-shop for information, souvenirs and services when staying in Mullewa.

Friendly staff will assist you with deciding what to see, do and where to eat and stay while in the area as well as offer internet access and Transwa bus ticket purchase facilities.

Pemberton is a year round destination. If you love bush walking Pemberton has some of the best natural and environmental walks in the State. If food is your thing, Pemberton boasts the home of the delicious crustacean called Marron. Ravensthorpe is a historic agriculture and mining town, it sits amid stately salmon gums. It is a great place to explore the Ravensthorpe Range, the Fitzgerald River National Park, and its many unique wildflowers.

Learning about Toodyay is easy at the visitor centre as they stock a huge range of brochures covering not only Toodyay – but the Avon Valley and Wheatbelt. Their local staff have many combined years of experience in Toodyay and are always passionate about passing on their knowledge.

The Wagin Tourist Information Centre is located at the Wagin Historical Village. The information centre is the gateway to possibly the best reconstruction of a farming community in the state.

It offers a number of tourism experiences for the tourist and local including: sheep shearing, The Woolstation of Williams (a retail outlet for wool clothing from all over Australia), The Shearing Shed Theatre, sales of local and regional wines and The Shed Café/Restaurant.

The centre is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Wongan Hills Visitor Centre is totally run by a dedicated team of 30 volunteers and is open 7 days a week.

Our helpful volunteers have local knowledge of the area and have up to date information on what to see, especially during wildflower time with over 1,300 species of flora.

Our volunteers are ready to guide you around our awesome walk trails, so call in and book for a guided tour. We have one of the best selections of wildflower books and many other books for sale. We also offer great gift ideas to suit all ages.

The Wyndham Tourist Information Centre provides a diverse range of information and assistance to visitors travelling throughout the Wyndham area.

The Wyndham Tourist Information Centre’s friendly staff are local residents with extensive knowledge about the tourism products and services available in the area and are more than happy to assist with your travel plans.

The York Visitor Centre are located at the York Town Hall.

They provide a free, comprehensive and informative online accommodation booking service. There is also detailed information of the many attractions and things to see and do in the area.

They can provide you with information on historic York, attractions, events, accommodation and dining.

The York Visitor Centre is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, with a closure for lunch.
