The No 3 Steam Pumping Station is now full of information, memorabilia and photographs of its fascinating history. The museum also boasts what has been described as one of the best displays of farm equipment anywhere in the country.

The museum also does a brilliant job of bringing to life the history not only of the Cunderdin-Meckering area but of the Wheatbelt as a whole, with its diverse range of memorabilia, photographs, story boards and household items.

Hopetoun is a beautiful historic coastal town 55 kilometres south, the eastern gateway into the Fitzgerald River National Park offering grand headlands, distant mountain ranges and beautiful inlets. Wave Rock, Hyden is a good day trip.
