In the past 10 years the Seymour Racing Club has grown from hosting 10 race meetings per season to 20 meetings in 2008/09 with the key events being the Victorian Country Thoroughbred Festival in August and the Darley Seymour Cup in October. The Club has focused on improving its amenities and now presents a first-rate function and conference facility for raceday and non-raceday functions alike. The Club also provides an excellent training facility with three training tracks including a Thoroughtrack.
