The Rhododendron Garden begins a new season
Stimulate your senses with the vibrant colours and aromas of the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden.
Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden has been developed on a 13 hectare natural amphitheatre. It includes some 22,000 select rhododendrons and companion plants in a unique landscape concept.
A series of walks provide extensive opportunities to enjoy the plants, wildlife and tranquillity of this unique environment. Platypus, echidna, and diverse bird life, are routinely sighted by visitors to the garden. Other landscape features include gazebos, bridges, waterways, and a fountain.
A tearoom opens every day during the peak flowering season of October and November and on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays during other opening months.
Weekend openings are arranged during autumn to view the brilliant autumn colour from deciduous trees, as well as vireya rhododendrons.
