Aqua Taxi is a water transport service on Tasmania’s east coast at Freycinet Peninsula Park. The service allows visitors to access the spectacular national park from the water for walking, kayaking and sightseeing.
The Aqua Taxi is a custom-built catamaran that can comfortably seat 10 passengers. The service is provided by Freycinet Adventures, a family-run business. There is a stable platform, allowing you to walk on and off the vessel without getting wet feet. Choose from a range of suggested itineraries, or personalise your own Freycinet experience.
If you want to visit Wineglass Bay without walking over the hill, Aqua Taxi can take you straight to your destination. You may wish to cruise to Cooks Beach with Aqua Taxi for a picnic and coastal walk, or hike up Mt Freycinet, the tallest peak on the peninsula. If you plan to go bushwalking deep in the heart of the Freycinet National Park, let Aqua Taxi drop you off at a secluded point to begin your walk. One way and return services are available to Hazards Beach, Cooks Beach and Schouten Island. Alternatively, have Aqua Taxi deliver your backpack, supplies, or kayaks to a designated point within the park.

Bay of Fires Dive offers scuba diving opportunities in Binalong Bay on Tasmania’s north-east coast.
Bay of Fires Dive is Scuba Schools International affiliated and provides dive charters, instruction and a retail facility at Binalong Bay.
The six-metre (19.6 foot) Haines runabout boat takes divers to the many sites along the coast. Most dive sites are no more than 15-minutes from Binalong Bay boat ramp.
Bay of Fires Dive proprietor, Peter Paulsen and dive instructor Bruce Annear, have a wealth of diving experience and knowledge. Peter is a long time resident who has an extensive background in abalone diving and fishing. He has dived the area extensively and is highly knowledgeable on the Bay of Fires coast.
Bruce has been involved in diving for over 25 years and instructing for 10 years. He has dived extensively along Australia’s eastern coastline and several locations overseas. He has been actively diving the Bay of Fires area since moving south from Melbourne.

Bicheno Dive Centre offers diving trips around Bicheno with guides for qualified divers in Tasmania.
You can experience the superb diving waters off Bicheno, said to be one of the most exciting locations for undersea diving in Australia. You will explore magnificent sponge gardens and spectacular kelp forests. Most sites are within the Governors Island Marine Reserve, protected for its diverse underwater life. You may even spot whales and dolphins in the area during winter and early spring.
All diving equipment is available for hire and a tank filling station is also on hand. The Bicheno Dive Centre dive tours cater for all qualified divers, from novices to the very experienced. All diving equipment is available for hire.

Bicheno Penguin Tours takes you to see fairy penguins at dusk on Tasmania’s east coast.
The nightly evening tours offer a rare and thrilling chance to visit a private rookery. You can watch the fairy penguins (also known as the little penguin) emerge from the ocean and head for their homes.
Established by Bicheno locals to protect the penguin population, the tour lets you get close to the penguins without disturbing their nightly journey. Tours operate daily except Good Friday and Christmas Day. Tours depart at dusk and penguin numbers vary seasonally. Bookings are essential for penguin tours.

Freycinet Air operates scenic flights over the east coast from Friendly Beaches, near Coles Bay. The company has been operating since 1997 and offers scenic flights in their Cessna 172s, which have a maximum capacity of three passengers.

Freycinet Air flies from Friendly Beaches Airfield, located 18 kilometres north of Coles Bay. Turn off the Swansea - Bicheno road (Highway A3) into Coles Bay Road (C302) and drive nine kilometres towards Coles Bay before turning left at the Friendly Beaches sign. After one kilometre you will see us on the left.
Flights operate daily between 0830 and 1700 subject to weather conditions.

Le Frog Trike Rides offer trike rides at Bicheno on Tasmania’s east coast.
Trike rides are on VW-powered Australian-built trikes with an emphasis on fun and entertainment. Trike rides are guided by an expatriate Frenchman who designed the motorcycles used in the first Mad Max film.
Rides range from a 10-minute sample ride to a two-and-a-half hour food connoisseur’s ride.
Bicheno is just over two hours’ drive southeast of Launceston (174 kilometres/108 miles).

You'll descend to Wineglass Bay where your guide will highlight the national park's flora and fauna and immerse you in the aboriginal heritage and European history of the area.
From Wineglass Bay, you'll take the track across the isthmus to Hazards Beach to your secluded haven. Here a banquet awaits.
