The "M.V. Reflections" is an 11 metre (35 foot) trihull cruiser, offering you an unforgettable wilderness experience cruising the Arthur River on the island's wild and unpeopled west coast.
You travel for 15 kilometres (nine miles), first to the river mouth then slowly upstream past the junction of the Arthur/Frankland rivers. This is as far as our vessel can access. The birdlife along the River includes the rare Azure kingfisher, robins, ground thrush and sea eagles. If you are lucky you may spot a platypus (best seen at dawn or dusk or on overcast days).

Arthur River Cruises takes you up the Arthur River on the 15.5 metre (50 foot) “M.V. George Robinson,” built in the 1980s using plans from a 19th century river boat. Your journey takes you into the northwest’s temperate rainforest landscape to an area that has been virtually untouched by humans.
The Arthur River is one of the island’s seven major rivers and its remote location has protected the animals and bird life that live along its lush riverbanks. It’s around one-hour’s drive southwest of Smithton and 90 minutes from Stanley.

Bay of Fires Dive offers scuba diving opportunities in Binalong Bay on Tasmania’s north-east coast.
Bay of Fires Dive is Scuba Schools International affiliated and provides dive charters and instruction at Binalong Bay.
The six-metre (19.6 foot) Haines runabout boat takes divers to the many sites along the coast. Most dive sites are no more than 15-minutes from Binalong Bay boat ramp.
Bay of Fires Dive proprietor, Peter Paulsen and dive instructor Bruce Annear, have a wealth of diving experience and knowledge. Peter is a long time resident who has an extensive background in abalone diving and fishing. He has dived the area extensively and is highly knowledgeable on the Bay of Fires coast.
Bruce has been involved in diving for over 25 years and instructing for 10 years. He has dived extensively along Australia’s eastern coastline and several locations overseas. He has been actively diving the Bay of Fires area since moving south from Melbourne.

You will take an easy walk on the Cradle Valley Boardwalk, and float leisurely through calm pools and river on inflatable tubes.

Dirt Trax Tas, based in Springfield, conducts off-road motorbike trail riding tours in northeast Tasmania.
You can join existing tour groups or you can form a group of your own. Be prepared for great riding adventures. You will traverse all types of off-road terrain on dirt bike – hills, beaches, rocks, fire trails, dirt tracks and creek crossings.
Tours run for either one, two or three days – they can also be tailored to suit group preferences and skill levels. Tours generally begin at 9:00am and finish riding at around 5:00pm.

National Geographic magazine, in January 1997, featured a story by one of the world's best underwater photographers, David Doubilet. Doubilet stated that Tasmania had some of the best cool temperate diving in the world.
The rich invertebrate and fish life provides spectacular diving, and whales and dolphins are regularly sighted on this part of the coast.

Part of The Great Walks of Tasmania, Freycinet Experience Walk is a guided trek along the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s east coast. The four-day walk involves both coastal and mountain walking.
The Freycinet Experience Walk takes you along deserted beaches, up pink granite Mount Graham and through the heart of the rich native heathlands of the Freycinet National Park, including Wineglass Bay.
Each evening you return to the award-winning and environmentally sensitive Friendly Beaches Lodge for an evening meal featuring local produce and regional wines. You have the added luxury of a hot shower before sleeping in a comfortable bed.
The Walk covers between 30 and 37 kilometres depending on which walking option you choose. Regardless of your route choice you will travel from the southern to the north tip of the Freycinet Peninsula in a continuous journey. You also do not have to carry a heavy backpack.

Gone Fishing Charters is a fishing charter operation based on the east coast of Tasmania.
The beautiful estuary system is not only scenic but the pristine waters support a huge array of fish which are some of the largest in the southern part of Australia.
Bream are the most sought-after estuary and river fish, high in numbers and size. It is a great sport fish and a real fighter, especially when using fly and lures. Bream are good to eat with fine white flesh. Bream grow to a size of four kilograms (8.8 pounds) but mainly average out at around the one to two kilogram range.
Although bream fishing is a real passion of your fishing guide, there are many other species that will be targeted during your charter. These include: garfish squid, Australian salmon, flathead, taylor, trevally, kingfish and sweep.
The Australian salmon is one of the great sport fish in the area. On a fly they are amazing to watch and even better to catch.

Gordon River Cruises based in Strahan takes visitors into the well-known Tasmanian World Heritage Area.
On the purpose-built "Lady Jane Franklin II", the voyage crosses Macquarie Harbour to pass through Hell’s Gate, the narrow entrance into the Southern Ocean. Returning back into the harbour, the boat cruises into the broad lower reaches of the Gordon River, where riverside rainforest is perfectly reflected in the dark waters. There’s an opportunity to go ashore and walk into the rainforest to see 2000-year-old Huon pines.
On the return voyage, guests can go ashore again at Sarah Island, site of an isolated and harsh 19th century penal colony, to hear stories of the convicts who laboured there. Skilled and knowledgeable local guides enhance the cruise with informative and interesting commentary on the region’s history and natural heritage.

Great Western Tiers Forest Walks is based in Jackeys Marsh near Deloraine in Tasmania's north. They offer short guided day walks through Tasmania’s magnificent old growth forests and alpine wilderness. History Alive! Heritage Inn Tours of Launceston offers guided tours of Launceston’s history, northern Tasmania.
The old inns of Launceston are an essential part of the heritage of Australia’s third oldest city. You will hear many tales, mostly untold, of Launceston’s heritage inns and the rogues and characters that operated them.
Each tour is a unique experience and through your personal guide, local historian and author Geoff McLean, you will hear about the publican lashed and jailed for aiding escaping convicts, and the hotelier who hated drinkers – and many more.
The tour also encompasses much of Launceston’s rich heritage. You will pass by sites of hangings, murders, political riots, historic churches and haunted buildings. You will also stand on the very spot that is regarded as the geographic and spiritual heart of modern Launceston.
Each tour goes for approximately one and three-quarter hours, depending on the group requirements. Bookings are essential as numbers for each tour are limited so that it remains a personal experience.

The Hobart Historic Walk is an excellent introduction to Hobart and its history, making it ideal for visitors and providing a healthy walk. Tours can be tailored to your requirements and schedule including Battery Point and Salamanca in a number of combinations.

You do not need to be able to swim and Hobart Paddle is an ideal way to get staff out of the office for some exercise and fun. Simply put on some casual clothing and bring along some sunscreen, hat, water bottle and optional camera. The guides will provide everything else you need including life jacket, warm top and spray jacket. Hobart Paddle meets at Marieville Esplanade in Sandy Bay down by the water’s edge.

The Hobart Rivulet is a water course which flows from Mount Wellington to the River Derwent. This fully guided aboveground tour follows the course of the Rivulet beneath the City's central business district. The Rivulet played a key role in the historical development of the City of Hobart since the early 1800's. A unique opportunity to see some of Hobart's hidden history.

Richmond Mount Wellington Shuttle Buses operate tours from Hobart to Richmond and Mount Wellington.
The Richmond tour consists of pick up from anywhere in Hobart’s city and suburbs, and transporting to Richmond via the Coal Valley wineries. You have approximately three hours sightseeing in Richmond before returning to Hobart via Risdon Vale taking in Risdon Brook Dam.
The Mount Wellington shuttle takes approximately two hours and includes a half hour at the summit returning down past the Cascade Brewery and a stop-off is made at the Female Factory if desired and then clients are returned to their accommodation.
Richmond Mount Wellington Shuttle Buses operate three 12 seater coaches.

Hollybank Treetops Adventure is a zip line canopy tour north east of Launceston, Tasmania.
This journey in the treetops offers superb views and is Australia’s longest continuous cable ride based in the Hollybank Forest. Wearing a harness you soar along 730 metres of cable, at times 50 metres above ground and the beautiful Pipers River.
The flying fox ride is interspersed with tree platforms or ‘Cloud Stations’ that enable you to rest between rides, share the exhilaration with others and take in the beauty of the forest, all without disconnecting. ‘Cloud Stations’ are attached securely without any negative impact on the trees. The longest section of ride soars above the Pipers River for 370 metres, a great way to finish the ride.
Visitors can then make their way back to the visitor centre to remove their harnesses, have a relaxing drink and share their memories of riding the cable. Retail sales opportunities are also available. Facilities such as picnic tables and barbecues are provided onsite as well as a number of beautiful walking tracks taking in the rich heritage of the site and the exotic trees planted over 150 years ago.

Huon River Jet Boats offers high speed boat tours on the Huon River, southern Tasmania. Huon River Jet Boats is based in Huonville, a 35-minute drive south west of Hobart (48 kilometres/30 miles) in the Huon Valley.
