A wide variety of crafts are presented including home-made preserves and other edible goodies, lavender, potpourri and herbal products and gifts. Also children’s and adult’s clothing, machine embroidered items, hand-made cards and gifts, small paintings and cards by the Late Bronte Allen, wood burning, wooden crafts and toys, jewellery, crystal products and Tarot readings, and unusual crafty gifts.

The show donates to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, The Make a Wish Foundation and the Fauna Haven Animal rescue. Proceeds from a raffle are included in the donations.

Curramulka Lights Up! 2010 - Light Up Night Tours and Attractions Curramulka is a small farming community that comes alive on the first Saturday of December each year. The 2010 event will be held on Saturday 4 December with the official turning on of the Christmas lights. It commences at 5.30 pm with a parade from the park opposite the Hotel finishing at the Town Oval. Any-one is welcome to participate. Just join in on the night.

The oval activities commence at 6pm. Sit and relax on the oval listening to the Maitland Area School Band, while the children visit Father Christmas in The Curry Cave for a small fee, having their face painted or having fun playing old fashioned games like egg and spoon races, three legged races, sack race and much, much more.

Various hot food, soft drink, tea, coffee, biscuits, hot donuts, hot chips, barbecue tea, bar facilities and glow products are available to purchase.

Sit down and relax until the turning on the lights at 8.45pm. Walk or drive around the town and see the spectacular light displays.

After Light Up Night the Christmas lights will be on in Curramulka every night until New Years Eve.

Yorke Peninsula’s Saltwater Classic 2010 Tours and Attractions Yorke Peninsula’s Saltwater Classic is a special event designed to tap into growing national and international appreciation and enjoyment of vessels of a bygone era. These vessels have been faithfully restored by their owners, and they showcase the skills and styles of boat builders from last century. The Australian Maritime Museum defines a classic boat as any vessel with unique and enduring qualities.

Our event attracts people from across Australia to parade their boats in the waters off the sister towns of Stansbury and Port Vincent, and it draws spectators to a variety of water-based and shore-based events. The next regatta will be held on the weekend of 17 and 18 April, 2010. While the focus is on Stansbury and Port Vincent, visitors are encouraged to venture on to other appealing places on Yorke Peninsula.
