The District Council of Coober Pedy and the Coober Pedy Visitor Information Centre welcomes visitors to our unique town. There is nowhere else in the world like it.

The Visitor Information Centre is within the administration complex of the Council Chambers. The centre provides detailed information on local attractions, a booking service for local tours and accommodation as well as information on areas throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre is located in the picturesque town of Quorn in the Flinders Ranges.

The centre is a fully accredited centre and is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. It is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers from the local area who are happy to assist visitors to the region.

The Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre has an extensive selection of local and regional brochures, plus a range of souvenirs, maps, pictures and books for sale. The internet is also available to assist with holiday planning.

The Hawker Visitor Information Centre is located within Hawker Motors, which is in the centre Hawker.

The accredited Hawker Visitor Information Centre provides information, maps and literature on the Flinders Ranges and Outback as well as basic information for other areas in South Australia. A comprehensive range of souvenirs, books on Australiana and maps are available along with a wide selection of brochures. Light snacks and refreshments, internet access, email, facsimile and photocopying are available.

Hawker Visitor Information Centre includes Fred Teague's museum, which contains memorabilia, mineral specimens and bottles. The local Seismograph Station for the Hawker region is situated near the information section and is maintained for the South Australian Government's Department of Primary Industries.

The Hawker Visitor Information centre endeavours to ensure that you receive the best possible service at all times.

This project is an initiative of the Leigh Creek Area School. It first opened its doors in July 1999. Since then it has continued to develop into a Centre that offers friendly local service provided by students from the local school and adults from Leigh Creek and its surrounding region. We pride ourselves in making our visitors feel welcome and offering them plenty of things to see and do whilst they are in the area.

Local artists and crafts people proudly display their products in the Centre and an extensive range of souvenirs, maps and books are available.

The Information Centre consists of a restored railway passenger sleeper car which was part of the original East West Express. The carriage was put into service in 1917 and was retired from service in 1979.

There are two compartments in the carriage which have been restored to how they looked when it was in use as a sleeper car. There is also a wide range of information about the area and state available plus a wide selection of souvenirs for sale.

This centre is run by volunteers.

The National accredited Port Augusta Visitor Information Centre is a part of the Wadlata Outback Centre. The Outback Centre provides comprehensive tourist information about local and regional tours, attractions and accommodation and provides booking facilities for Port Augusta and the Flinders Ranges and Outback of South Australia.

As a gateway service, information and brochures are available on the Eyre Peninsula, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia in general. The Centre has internet, maps and a large range of books, gifts and souvenirs with a local flavour and has an online shop with booking facilities through its website. The Centre houses the Outback Tuckerbox and Flinders Ranges and Outback's Discovery Centre, the Tunnel of Time (Interpretive Centre).

The Port Pirie Regional Tourism and Arts Centre is a must for any visitor wishing to engage in a unique cultural experience, discover information on the secrets of the Port Pirie region and the Southern Flinders Ranges.

The multi-award winning and nationally accredited Visitor Information Centre is the outcome of a Port Pirie Regional Council initiative that involved the redevelopment of the former Port Pirie Railway Station.

The centre combines outstanding attractions with specialised and personal service to visitors. These include: Visitor information, the longest Great White Shark landed in South Australia exhibition, interpretive art works, famous silver tree fern, public internet access, Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery, Totally Loco Souvenir and Gift Shop, Pirie Rail Express Miniature Railway, Pirie Model Railway, Port Pirie Smelter Tours, Port Pirie special events headquarters, Women's Keepsake Garden, 1.6 kilometre landscape Heritage Walk, Stateliner Bus Terminal, coach, caravan and car parking.

The Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre is always a hub of activity for resort visitors, campers and day-trippers to the region.

Situated within the Wilpena Pound National Park the centre provides up to date regional information along with all trail, walking and local flora and fauna details. We are the booking centre for scenic flights and four wheel drive vehicle tours including self-drive and tag-a-long.

Many books of interest are available and maps and reprints of items of interest are on hand.

The Wirrabara Craft House and Tourist Information Centre is situated in an historic two storey building occupying most of the lower floor. The building looks out over the Wongabirrie parklands. Situated in the park is a mosaic wall and there are facilities for a barbeque and picnic lunch.

Tourist Information Centre provides a three metre by three metres comprehensive range of South Australian Tourism Commission visitor guides and local attractions and activities. It is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who have a wealth of local and regional knowledge. It also holds keys for the local caravan park and Youth Hostel Association.

The Visitor Information Centre combines with a fabulous craft show where local artists and crafts people sell an extensive range of high quality craft.

The Woomera Visitor Information Centre includes a snack bar, ten pin bowling alley, heritage museum and souvenir shop. The centre prides itself on having helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff dedicated to meeting the needs of visitors. Also featured at the centre are services for people with disabilities, coach parking and public toilets.

Woomera is an Outback village with a remarkable history. The village was constructed to support the construction teams working on the Woomera Rocket Range

The Woomera Heritage and Visitor Information Centre have a comprehensive display of brochures promoting South Australia's unique regions as well as stocking promotional material on Queensland, Northern Territory and Australia generally.

The souvenir shop specialises in Len Beadell merchandise and has an extensive range of tee shirts, magnets, spoons, stubby coolers, hats, books, videos and postcards exclusive to Woomera.
