Come and experience a day with Noel Butler at Jamanee Gunya on a Cultural Experience Course, and learn about the culture of the Budawang people – the local Aboriginal people of the Milton area on the South Coast of New South Wales. Noel Butler is a traditional custodian and Jamanee Gunya’s educator. Noel relays the stories and customs of his people – the Budawang people, in vivid detail. Your day begins at Jamanee Gunya at 8am with Noel introducing a brief outline of Budawang culture and history. You will then be transferred into the beautiful Meroo National Park to enjoy canoeing around Meroo Lake. While on the lake, Noel will point out flora used for bush tucker and medicinal purposes. Following this, enjoy a barbecue lunch of traditional game, for example, kangaroo, with salad, tea/coffee and cake. You will also get to try local bush tucker, and hear the local story of creation – the Dreamtime – of Pigeon House Mountain, known locally as Dithul. Upon return to Jamanee Gunya, you will learn the history of and use of a Boomerang, and have the opportunity to paint your own. About Jamanee Gunya: Jamanee Gunya is a non-profit organisation situated created to run courses in Australian Aboriginal culture: our ultimate goal is to foster cultural understanding in the community. Noel has over 25 years experience in teaching Aboriginal culture Australia wide. Funds raised through cultural experience courses are channelled into Jamanee Gunya’s work educating and empowering Indigenous youths. We hope to motivate a future generation of positive role models for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people alike. Your day ends at 5pm. It is recommended to have breakfast before you leave your accommodation for Jamanee Gunya. A medium level of fitness is required for canoeing.

Montreal Goldfield in Bermagui is a great experience to suit all ages including 'global experience seekers', it combines cultural heritage with historical, geological and environmental values. The goldfield is an intact alluvial goldfield from the 1880s and the only one on the Australian coast. Two hectares of the goldfield have been wonderfully preserved and made safe for public access. Approximately 300 meters of boardwalks and compacted pathways (60 per cent wheelchair access) meander through stands of beautiful tree ferns and established bloodwood forest which has re-grown since the moonscape days of the gold rush period. Fauna includes sugar gliders, bats, possums, lizards and a diverse bird life.

Moruya Offshore Charters run the original (and best) Charter fishing operation from Moruya on the South Coast of New South Wales. They are owner operated and take that extra care to ensure that you have a good time and book with them again.
The vessel, "Precious Time" is aluminium, 8.4 metre and powered by a turbocharged and supercharged 230hp Volvo Penta and in full survey.
If you hate crowds then they are the charter boat for you. While the vessel is in survey for ten persons they limit any fishing trip put together by them to a maximum of six persons to both minimise tangles and maximise fishing time. They will however gladly take a group booking for friends/family for up to nine.
They offer exclusive and fully catered reef, sport and game fishing charters through the Batemans Marine Park all year round. On these trips they provide all bait, tackle and refreshments and help to clean and pack your catch.
While general scenic tours can be arranged any time of the year, Whale watching in September to November is a highlight.
