Legendary guitarist, Al Di Meola is bringing his Latin Jazz Fusion band World Sinfonia to Australian shores in March 2010. The six piece outfit fuses jazz with the sounds of Argentina, Brazil, Israel and the Mediterranean.

One of the most prominent virtuosos in the contemporary instrumental jazz field, Al Di Meola’s dazzling technique on both acoustic and electric guitars is unmatched.

The Bellingen Jazz and Blues Festival provides three days of live music designed to present a cross section of jazz and blues styles. They provide a program containing “something for everyone”.

Staged in Bellingen, with its pristine river and historic streetscape, the Festival presents around 35 performances in 13 venues. The venues included the Federal Hotel, the Memorial Hall, Meeting Place at the Council Chambers and the Bellingen Community Markets. The spread and diversity of these locations created variety and ensuring a vibrant, community atmosphere.

There is jazz on the pavement by the pub and in the park beside the council chambers, intimate jams in small cafés, a big band dance, cocktail party, and late night grooves in clubs. The hallmark event is on Sunday. ‘Jazz by the Riverside’ which brings thousands of people together to enjoy wonderful music and picnic on the banks of the Bellinger River.

Each year the event attracts a great number of anglers and is a highly regarded event on the circuit. The 2008 event attracted 51 boats and 212 anglers - this is close to being a record for the tournament. There were boats from Victoria, Queensland and from everywhere in between.

Arrive on the Coffs coast from October 2 to 10 - during the school holidays for the Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival
and you will be forgiven for thinking this normally laid back coastal area has gone a little crazy. The streets, parks and harbour foreshores of the city of
Coffs Harbour become an international stage for some of the world's most professional and zany street, and circus entertainers. While in the evenings the
clubs and pubs resonate with laughter as audiences enjoy the adult-only comedy shows.

The annual Coffs Harbour Buskers Festival offers something for all members of the family and it is a free community event certainly not to be missed.

Enjoy all the excitement of the boat racing - junior events, outboards and hydroplanes. The program includes the Stuart Doyle Cup on Saturday and the Geoff Stevenson Memorial on Sunday. Racing on both Saturday and Sunday starts at 10am. Food and refreshment stalls will be operating. This will be a family fun weekend.

There will be approximately 1,500 competitors, aged 18 - 75, competing from over 30 countries and from every State and Territory in Australia in the Ironman Australia Triathlon in Port Macquarie.

The race consists of a 3.8 kilometre swim, 180.2 kilometre bike ride and a 42.2 kilometre run. Competitors have 17 hours to finish the race.

The race begins with the swim leg and will start opposite the Sea Rescue Headquarters. The bike course is one of the most spectacular Ironman bike rides in the world with the cycle winding along beside the Pacific Ocean on the beautiful and undulating Pacific Drive. The three-lap course incorporates the City Centre and provides excellent viewing for spectators.

The marathon course takes competitors along the Hastings River foreshores and along beside the beaches and parts of Pacific Drive which combines rolling hills with beautiful scenery to provide excellent viewing for both competitors and spectators.

Kundabung Rodeo and Australasian Bullriding Titles is Australia's richest bull-riding event featuring some of Australia's best cowboys. Including live entertainment and kid's rides, this event is suitable for many ages.

The grounds are located 10 kilometres south of Kempsey and 30 kilometres north of Port Macquarie. This event will be a night time event.

Wingham Beef Week is a series of Beef orientated activities held in Wingham and surrounding areas.

Activities include an Informal Dinner at Wingham Hotel to open Beef Week 2010. A barbecue will be provided and a guest speaker will attend to speak on important aspects of the beef industry. For catering purposes the committee would like to be informed as soon as possible if you will be attending.

Other activities include a Roving Field day, Junior Field Day using the school’s cattle to educate people in the preparation and showing of cattle, a mock auction, Craft Display, Fun on the Park at Central Park Wingham, all Breeds Cattle Competition, Stalls, Displays and a street parade.
