Held annually at The Entrance on the second weekend in March the festival is arguably one of Australia’s biggest with over 45,000 visitors attending over the festival weekend in 2009. For a hint of what’s in store, acts over the weekend in alphabetical order include; Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence, Beccy Cole, Bella, Bill Chambers, Bruce McCumstie, Catherine Britt, Chicken Train Skifflers, Chris James, Dale Hooper, Daniel Thompson, Garry Lowe, Jonah’s Road, Lucky Starr, McAlister Kemp, Mike Carr, Nicki Gillis, Paul Costa, Pixie Jenkins, Summerland Kings, The Rough Diamonds and Travis Collins. And it isn’t just the music that makes the festival so great. There will also be a Youth Showcase, Poet’s Breakfast, Busking Competition, Stalls and Amusement Rides. Country by the coast - just a step away from Sydney.

The Central Coast Country Music Festival brings the 'Country to the Coast' with quality Country Music artists from New South Wales and interstate. The festival runs over two days and features 40 Australian country music artists performing in 20 venues. It is expected to attract 37,000 visitors. The focus point is the Memorial Park on The Entrance foreshore which provides a perfect outdoor venue and is central to The Entrance business district. Features of the Festival are the Central Coast Ute Show, Double Decker Country Music Bus Tours and Lake Cruises, Market Stalls, Poets Breakfast, Farm Machinery and Woodturning displays, Children’s Rides, Tex Morton Museum and Buskers. Most entertainment is free.

The Inaugural Central Coast Italian Festival is coming soon to the Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort.
Enjoy Italian music, Italian films, Italian dancing, Italian cars, Fashion parades and Italian cuisine including gelato, pasta, pizza, San Pellegrino and Italian wines.
Three restaurants in the resort offer quality Italian menus and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - La Fiamma Woodfire Pizzeria, La Cucina Cortesi Caffe/Restaurante and Ettalong Pizza and Pasta.
Cinema Paradiso will play movies including Rocky, The Godfather , Cinema Paradiso, Roman Holiday and Malena.

Art by the Sea at Killcare SLSC will showcase the works of local and visiting artists including cartoonist Bill Leak, sculptor John Woulfe, Paul Haggith, Mandy Francis, Martyne Ford, Margaret Fortey, Piers Jones, Marijke Greenway, Dorothy Hurrell and photographer, Andre Martin. Visiting artists include exhibiting artist Dianne Fogwell, Aboriginal artists Chris Edwards, Fabri Blacklock and Dzidra Mitchell.
After viewing the artworks, enjoy a drink at the newly refurbished Clubhouse bar on level one or dine at Randall’s restaurant on the same level. The beach kiosk will also be open.

Teams of 3 navigate around a secret course and find their way from checkpoint to checkpoint on foot, bike and kayak. The Adventure Race will take place in the Central Coast area in a secret location to be advised closer to the event.

The 5 Lands Experience

The 5 Lands Experience is an event that happens on the last Sunday of every month at The Rhythm Hut on the Central Coast in Gosford. There is always fantastic live world music from the 5 Lands Band, followed by a guest artist that changes monthly – it’s a night of music, dancing and fun. The Rhythm Hut is the home of drumming on the Central Coast, where the well known Rhythm Hunters share music with the community. They organise great events and fantastic classes in African and Japanese drumming, salsa dancing, bellydancing, yoga, and more. With a drum shop of over 80 drums including bongos, taiko and African djembe, The Rhythm Hut offers a warm and friendly environment for all ages.
