Because of this, Filipinos have a reputation for being warm and hospitable. The many shopping centres in Manila attract natives from all over the country. The economy is slowly stabilizing and attracting more and more investors. Although Manila is mostly covered in concrete structures, there are several natural spots that have been preserved. The Manila Bay is known for its striking sunsets. A few hours away are pristine beaches and beautiful mountains.
