Dunedin is an island located in the Otago region of New Zealand. In the South Island of the country, it is the second largest city. The local folk here are known for being friendly compared to people found in the larger cities of New Zealand. The city is packed with attractions for tourists. The Speights Brewery is a landmark of the city because it was founded in the year 1876. Another popular attraction is Cadbury World, a factory where families are invited to take guided tours in.
For those who are interested in the botanical aspects of the city, there is the Dunedin Botanical Gardens. It comes with an aviary and several gardens you can spend hours in. The Orokonui EcoSanctuary is another great place to bring your kids to. Many of New Zealand’s rare wildlife are found here.
