Hotel Facilities How to get to Long Island Resort Whitsundays Long island is one of the 74 islands that make up the Whitsunday group of Islands. If you are flying in from Hamilton Island Airport you will need to connect with Fantasea Cruises who will be at Hamilton Island Airport on arrival. If you are arriving by train or plane from Proserpine(Whitsunday Coast or Proserpine Railway station) then you will need to catch a Whitsunday Transit Bus or Taxi and asked to be dropped off at Shute Harbour. From there you will need to check in at the Fantasea booking office for your boarding passes. The friendly team at long Island Resort can make all these transfer arrangements for you (excluding Hamilton Island transfers, you will need to contact Fantasea Cruises on 07 4946 5111) if coming from Whitsunday Coast and advise you of costs involved, just call 1800 075 125 once you have made your reservation with Rates to go.com Thank you Children Infants 0-2years inclusive are free of charge. Cot hire is $5 per night. First child stays, plays and eats free of charge when using existing bedding - 3-16years inclusive.
