This is an Elizabethan stone mansion built in 1598. It is located within 35 acres of natural English gardens surrounded by 1000 acres of forestry commission land. This was once the home of William Robinson the creator of the English natural garden. All the rooms have views over either the gardens valley or lake. The 3 acres trout lake provides fly-fishing in season. There is a croquet lawn in the summer and guests can walk in the surrounding countryside. This property was built in 1598 and renovated in 1991. |
