One of the guests was Franz Kafka who met Milena here in 1917 ("Letters to Milena") LOCATION AND FACILITIES Today the Hotel Congress can also be comfortably reached by car using the motorway exit "Landstrasser Hauptstrasse" on the "Gürtel", direction 'Südbahnhof". The parking lot is directly opposite the hotel. Although all rooms and facilities are technically up-to-date, the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau atmosphere has been preserved. All rooms are equipped with bath or shower, satellite TV, minibar and hairdryer. We offer a sumptuous breakfast buffet in our restaurant. Centrally located and directly opposite the "Südbahnhof" (South Railway Station), it's only a short distance from Belvedere Palace and the underground. The State Opera is a mere 12 minutes' walk away. Be welcome to access the internet in our lobby, be it on your own laptop/PDA or on our guest-surf-station . If you don't have your own WLAN adapter you can rent one in our reception. Furthermore, starting from 2006, we can offer cable-bound internet access in all our 75 rooms.
