Hector Calvo 389 Cerro Bellavista Valparaiso - Chile
Valparaiso
Chile
Located on Hector Calvo street, on the hill aptly named Bellavista (beautiful view), the Inn’s doors open to the Open Sky Museum (Museo a Cielo Abierto). The walls of the streets surrounding the hotel are filled with murals painted by famous artists of the world. Atop the Inn’s eccentric facade of brass and wooden doors sits a rooftop garden. It is an enormous covered terrace that offers a spectacular 360º view of Valparaiso and the entire bay. The Robinson Crusoe Inn is made up of 14 rooms on three levels. The majority of them are double suites or apartments with high ceilings and original doors, old furniture and traditional decoration. The shining stars of the Robinson Crusoe experience are two rooftop suites which give their occupants a private and inimitable view of the city, day and night. In general, the structure corresponds to five (5) houses, whose architecture dates back to the ending of the 19th century. A day at the Robinson Crusoe Inn begins with our home baked bread, a bowl of fresh fruit, some pudding or rice with milk, cereals, cheesecake, apple or lemon pie, and an omelet or one crepe with blueberry sauce. This can be served either on the terrace or in the downstairs dining room which is tastefully adorned with a classic set of china and a fine selection of wines. |
