How to get to
Downs Motel Toowoomba
From Brisbane, at the top of the range, the Warrego Highway runs along James St. After 5 sets of traffic lights, you will see St. Patrick's Cathedral on the left. Turn left here into Ruthven St. (New England Highway), and we are about 300 metres on your right, between Spotlight and Freedom Furniture. From Dalby and the West, again the Warrego Highway runs along James St. towards Brisbane. After you cross the railway line, the next set of lights is Ruthven St. Turn right, and continue as above. From Warwick and the South, the New England Highway becomes Ruthven St. You will pass the Homemaker Centre ( Good Guys, Harvey Norman, etc) on the right, then Pizza Hut, Macca's, and Hungry Jack's on the left - continue until you see Freedom and Spotlight on the left - we are in between. From the North, the New England Highway becomes Ruthven St., which runs through the centre of town - continue through town and across James St., then as above.
