While you're there

International visitors were especially pleased with the polite and helpful staff, who provided efficient check-in. Management were also very responsive to minor problems like dipping fridges. Guests highlighted the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel could more than keep them going until lunchtime. There's also a good communal kitchen facility.

What to look out for

Most travellers remarked that the rooms are clean and comfortable, but some said they need a thorough dusting around skirting boards. Street noise is also a bit of an issue, even at 7 floors up, but they acknowledge that this is not within the hotel’s control, it's part and parcel with staying in a cheaper hotel right in the heart of Sydney's most vibrant area.
