Just a couple of blocks north of the magnificent Pitt Street Mall, the Metro Hotel On Pitt’s best feature is its location: accessible to public transport and within walking distance to the QVB, Town Hall Station, Hyde Park and Oxford Street.

While you're there

Some guests enjoyed the rooms, while others described dark hallways and dingy, small rooms with peeling paint¸ but commented on overall cleanliness and very comfortable beds. The big showers were a hit, though some noted a bit of mould in the tiles.

The staff are described as attentive and polite.

What to look out for

Several said that the buffet breakfast option was expense and fairly average quality. You'd be better off heading to one of the many cafes nearby. The hotel’s external provider car park is a few blocks away.
