While you're there

A lot of travellers comment that the rooms are very small, but if you're only there to get some sleep a night before or after a flight, it's not such a big deal. Being conveniently close to the international terminal, offering late check in, and serving dinner until 10pm makes it especially handy.

Things to look out for

The hotel doesn't have a lift, so you have to carry bags upstairs (at most, to the second floor). Some hotel guests describe the hotel’s neighbourhood as industrial and a bit loud, but were excited by the complimentary hotel parking — just check it's available before you arrive.

Guest tips

Book and pay the small fee for a shuttle bus the night before you leave to go to the airport for early morning flights. Also make sure you contact reception if you’re going to be later than expected check in. For a cheap dinner, guests recommend the nearby St George Rowing Club, and for snacks a 7-11 is within walking distance.
