The former beachhouse of the famed Australian painter Arthur Boyd and his family, this architect-designed cottage is absolute oceanfront - perched on the sand dunes above Culburra Beach among beautiful native vegetation. Bought by the present owner from Yvonne Boyd in 2003, the property has been completely renovated and redecorated, with updated kitchen and bathroom and quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. The multi-level design, with decks off many of the rooms provide private escapes if the house is fully occupied and protection from the elements, no matter what the weather brings. You can relax and enjoy a late afternoon drink on the painting platform built by Boyd, with incredible views north across the whole of Shoalhaven Bight. Just over two hours south of Sydney, this property also has easy access to local shops and services, with Jervis Bays pristine forests, beaches and national parks at your doorstep.
