The Cocoon Hotel is located in front of one of the best beaches in Salvador Praia Jaguaribe in the middle of Salvadors main tourist zone on the west of the peninsula near the best restaurants and entertainment. Resembling a space ship landed on a bamboo forest the hotels building materials are perfectly integrated with the forest and the environment. Interesting features include the sunny veranda which is ingeniously supported by the rooms bamboo walls as well as the hotels vivid illumination when night falls. Each piece in the furnishing of the room and the hotel such as the platform beds couches and projected lighting reflects the special concept whereby high-tech and tradition merge creating a unique environment. The hotel features rooms facing the beach. The rooms offer a more intimate and private atmosphere and are all equipped with every comfort: silk sheets silent air conditioning and a sound system linked to the lounge. Additionally each bathroom is filled with natural light coming from the oversized glass windows.
