Restaurant : The dining room is a quite small area located on the ground floor, an intimate and cozy venue offering seafood dishes as a specialty.

General : The Loftleider is a good, completely renovated product. Some guests may be anxious about the property because of its location but all rooms are well sheltered from aircraft noise - the airport is in fact shut daily from 22:00 hrs until 07:00 hrs. The hotel is suitable base to visit the sights of Reykjavik and is also the first stop for the airport bus "Flybus".

Floral patterns adorn the walls, tables and beds with local artwork in every rooms. Much thought has gone into the design of the bedrooms. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.

There is a medium-sized breakfast room on the ground floor with smart new furniture and a modern design throughout. There is also a Cafe on the ground floor, which is extremely bright with huge windows from the ground to the ceiling - much like a conservatory in fact.

General
This is an excellent hotel, ideal for those who do not need to stay in Reykjavik but require a good 4 star property with excellent facilities.
