Aman-i-khas 10 luxury tents are set in a quiet rural area that borders one of the finest tiger reserves in the world. The camp operates from October until the end of April - the best period for wildlife spotting. New Delhi with its broad boulevards and tree-lined avenues is the main gateway to Amanresorts stays in Rajasthan India. The international airport is located approximately 35km from the city centre. The secondary international gateway to Rajasthan is Jaipur which is a 30 minute flight away from Delhi. There are daily flights with Indian airlines between Jaipur and Dubai and twice-weekly flights between Jaipur and Bangkok. From Delhi guests can travel to Aman-i-Khas by train plane and vehicle or by helicopter. The train is often the most convenient method and travel time to Sawai Madhopur station. Drinks and light snacks are provided. Amanresorts has done its best to ensure that the journey runs smoothly and guests travel in a compartment for two to four persons chaperoned by a *batman* or member of staff from Aman-i-Khas. On arrival in Sawai Madhopur they are taken on the 15-minute journey to the camp itself in an open jeep style vehicle arriving in time for dinner. Alternatively travel by private helicopter is possible and there are landing pads 10 minutes from the camp. Price and details are available on application. On departure Amanresorts suggests guests travel to Jaipur by car which takes approximately three hours at a cost of US150 per car per way. There are around six commercial jet air services each day between Jaipur and Delhi during high season. These are operated by Indian Airlines Sahara Airlines and Jet Airways. For guests traveling from Jaipur onto Amanbagh it is approximately 90 minutes drive away by complimentary car transfer.
