Hotel Facilities How to get to Lychee Tree Self Contained Apartments Port Douglas Port Douglas is 70km from Cairns and transfers can be by either Transfer bus or car hire (fees apply). For Self Drivers Departing from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway North following the signange to Mossman. After around an hour of scenic driving, find the Port Douglas signage and take a right turn. Travel until passing the Port Douglas Fire and Ambulance Stations. Take the next turn left into Crimmons Street then right onto the Davidson Street Access Road. Drive slowly until you see the bright orange sign of the Lychee Tree. Look out for the Monkey! Children Children are always welcome at The Lychee Tree. Excellent 20m Saltwater swimming pool with child friendly shallow end. Pool toys and swings available for their enjoyment.
