Located at the eastern part of Perth's business district and shopping centre, the Hyatt Regency is the idyllic hotel for guests who come for business or just for a breather with family and friends. It takes pride in its scenic location and enjoys a credibility that has been built for years, being part of the famous line of Hyatt Regency hotels worldwide. The hotel is close to the London Court, St. Mary's Cathedral, the Perth Concert Hall and Playhouse Theatre.

While You Are There

The hotel has a classic design, which reflects in the lobby having high ceiling and windows and a combination of wood, glass and soft lights that evoke elegance in all its areas. The 367 rooms and suites equally reflect the same, extending to the light and dark shades of carpets and drapes. They range from the standard, club, and river view rooms to the more upscale executive, spa, and presidential suites – all complete with workspaces, internet access, and mini bars. The state of the art outdoor pool provides guests great views of the city while having a swim or a relaxing drink.

There are four on-site restaurants that serve a variety of Asian, European, and local cuisine to suit the taste of every traveler. On the other hand, the Conservatory lounge located at the center of the hotel is a cozy place to have a talk with business colleagues or a casual drink or snack with friends or family. For those who are looking for an evening reverie, there are always lovely bars close by that are open late at night.

What They Say

A high percentage of guests loved the rooms especially those families who stayed at the river view rooms where they also got a beautiful view of the pool. Cleanliness and very good room service were also positive remarks from most guests. Some complained that their air conditioners or showers were not functioning well. The hotel management has acted on these issues accordingly, contacting the necessary person in charge to fix the problem and the guests appreciated this very much. Hotel courtesy and service were highly commended, although checking in was reportedly a little slow.

Location was also a guest favorite, as the hotel is just a walking distance to the Swan River, Central Perth, and the jetty. A few travelers don’t quite appreciate the noise in some parts of the Adelaide Terrace and recommended the river view rooms if you’d like peace and quiet. Additionally, they love the food in the on-site restaurants, especially mentioning that Joe’s Oriental Diner serve the best food and with reasonable rates.
