It was the perfect example of hospitality art and skill and certainly with one of the most beautiful facades in all Merano at that time. The building is now recognized as a jewel of the decorated Liberty style and has been under the protection of Belle Arti a National Society for valuable historic buildings since 1984. The Villa is pleasantly situated along the cool shady river-walk once known as the Stefanie Promenade.
