Lombok, a coastal island populated by 3.16 million people, is bordered by Lombok Strait on the west and Alas Strait on the east. The largest city on the island is called Mataram, the capital city of the West Nussa Tenggara province. Lombok is a paradise. Mount Rinjani is a volcano that looms over the island.

Some of the most popular waterfalls in the island include Air Tejun Tiu Kelep, Air Terjun Sindang Gila, and Air Tenjung Betara Lenjang. The Tanjung A’an is an area located near the Kuta Beach. It is known for its pepper-like sand. Other places to visit include the Narmada Water Park, which is located 10 km east of Mataram, and Sukarare, a village known for its traditional weavers.
There are many things to do in Lombok. There are biking tours, fishing charters, and hiking trails. There are also a number of scuba diving and snorkelling sites around the island.
