The 4-Star Schloss-Hotel has a lakeside garden. Inside antiques armor heavy beams and wonderful large wooden doors create an appealing almost theatrical atmosphere. Guest rooms are modern in comfort richly decorated and many look out onto the lake. The Chateau Golden Gate is above the other two buildings. Again the use of armor beams and heavy doors give a feeling of an old castle and the hotel has all the modern conveniences including a sauna solarium and whirlpool. The guest rooms are large lovely and many enjoy wonderful views of the lake. There is also a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the lake and mountains. The restaurant Swiss-Chalet is exceptionally inviting. The Swiss-Chalet was once the family home of the owner Joseph Seeholzer and inside this marvelous old farmhouse their family rooms have been converted to an intimate melange of dining nooks. Tables are set in what used to be the living room in front of the old stove that once serviced the kitchen - all nestled under old beams and clustered in intimate groups surrounded by antiques and cozy furnishings. Downstairs where they used to burn schnapps and distill apples and pears is another lovely restaurant. Guestrooms in the original farmhouse are found at the top of a steep flight of stairs. In a newer connecting building the Queen Astrid dedicated to the Belgian queen who died nearby a private dining room is found in what was once the house chapel and upstairs a few rooms have been converted to guestrooms and a honeymoon suite.
