Also called The Shambles, Alice’s Cottages invite you to relax in cosy comfort, amongst antiques, sampling the complimentary port, chocolate and shortbread in front of an open fire. Hotel Facilities How to get to Alice's Cottages & Spa Hideaways Launceston Travelling from the Launceston Airport or from the Spirit of Tasmania at Devonport the Bass Highway joins the Midlands Highway just outside of Launceston. Travel down a steep incline towards Launceston and turn left at the third set of traffic lights into Balfour Street . Go across one intersection at a small roundabout and we are the second house on the left. There is a driveway on the left of the cream-coloured building which you can drive into find reception. Children Children are not generally accommodated, but one cottage had a sosa bed and we do have a couple of fold-up or roll-away beds. Car Parking Each cottage has off-street parking.
