Actually the name is related to the growing of sugar cane on Maui. Just the same Sugar Beach happens to have miles of some of the best sand on the Valley Isle and guests may want to get out on the beach for some long walks during their stay. Early morning sunrises and early evening sunsets will provide spectacular backdrops. One may also enjoy swimming wind surfing and whale watching (during the winter months). It is one of the few beachfront properties with this amenity. The oceanfront swimming pool is a great place to relax. There is also a wading pool jet spa tennis courts putting green and barbecues. One will find a restaurant shops and activities center on property. The resort has elevators and private parking. The interiors include fully equipped kitchens cable TV telephone washer/dryer and private ocean view or beach front lanais.
