The building is an authentic, vintage 1960's old residential building with splashes of colonial architectural style (e.g. small balconies facing the main street), carefully restored without touching anything that can make it less authentic – right down to the 60s-style floor tiles and railings, raw concrete walls, old Chinese décor, and 1960’s utensils and toiletries.
LIVE like how it was lived in 1960’s Old Hong Kong! The rooms are smaller (reflecting the period), but it is an AUTHENTIC experience! There is also NO ELEVATOR. The stairs are at most 5 stories – but if you plan to bring heavy luggage, request a room from a lower floor.
