The Elms is one of a number of Hobart's landmark buildings. This lovely old mansion is centrally located 1.2 km from the CBD and 500 meters walk from the famous North Hobart "Gourmet Strip" which houses many of Hobart's better known eating establishments. Some twenty restaurants and cafes, all within the city block, offer the diner a variety of choice international and ethnic cusines. Delightful gardens are a feature of the large property and a favourite place guests to relax in the shade of the lovely old trees. Enjoy a delicious breakfast between 8am -9am with a relaxing atmosphere in our Dining Room with an outlook onto our beautiful Englsh garden and the Derwent river. The Guests Lounge is a wonderful place to relax and share experiences with other travellers over a complimentary or sherry, or a wine from our honesty cellar. This property is a smoke free property but have a designated area outside the property for smokers. The Elms is a 41/2 star property. Hotel Facilities How to get to Elms Of Hobart It is a 20 min drive from the airport. After driving over the Tamsan Bridge turn right with sign North Hobart. At round about turn right into Brooker Avenue,left into Burnett. Second set of traffic light turn right into Elizabeth Street. Past Post Office,left on the bend. We are located at 452 Elizabeth Street. Children Children must be over 7 years of age. Car Parking We have free off street parking to all our guests.
