As the resort only occupies a very small section of the Island there are numerous walking tracks and superb lookouts that are suitable for both the novice and the experienced walker. **GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND RESORT - 2008 SCHEDULED RENOVATIONS** Great Keppel Island Resort is undergoing a refurbishment program commencing 1st February 2008 with a scheduled completion date of August 2008. On completion the resort will be relaunched as a 5 star luxury resort. The renovations will occur in stages. Please note that the entire resort will be affected at some stage during the renovation period.
