It is an ancient Arabic house of 16th century, completely restored, composed of 3 apartments where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Alhambra. This peculiar building is situated in the quarter of Albayzín, just beneath the Alhambra nearby the Paseo de los Tristes. The apartments have capacity up to 6 people (a double sofa-bed is available also). The apartments are provided with central heating, air-conditioning and all the necessary details in order that our clients feel at home. Privileged location of the house, in the historic part of the city, invites to walk in its narrow streets and visit its monuments. It takes 10 minutes to get to the Plaza Nueva (New Square) and down town. There is a wide range of bars, restaurants, cafes, tea-shops, grocery’s and bookstalls in the proximity of the house.

How to get to
Gumiel Apartments Granada
In the ring road (circunvalación) take the exit N 128 “Centro-Mendez Núñez”. Follow straight ahead “up” and cross a wide street called Camino de Ronda. Then follow streets: Dr Severo Ochoa, Rector Lopez Argueta, San Juan de Dios, Avenida del Hospicio, Capitan Moreno, passing under an Arabic arch - Arco de Elvira (Arch of Elvira), Elvira street which finishes in Plaza Nueva square. In Elvira street you’ll meet with the controlled access to the Albayzín. If the traffic lights are red you have to stop before the barrier. To the left of the driver there will be a device where you’ll find a button. Press it and the policeman will ask you where you go. When the barrier is down, you can pass. After Plaza Nueva follow up and at the end of the square you’ll see a church with a Moorish tower (Santa Ana Church). Enter a very narrow street which passes along the river (Carrera del Darro). Take care with people walking. In the end of it you’ll find a very famous Paseo de los Tristes.

It is recommended to leave a car in one of the public parkings (the nearest is situated one 10-15 minutes walking) in the centre of the city, although it’s possible to find place nearby the apartments.
