The hotel is located halfway up Genting Highlands at 1000 feet elevation amidst spectacular greenery and a golf course. The hotel stands out as it is the only high rise property in the area. The weather is cool all year round.

Rooms
The rooms of the circular tower offers a fantastic view of the surrounding country side. Whilst the standard rooms offer a large area with dining table and balcony, the condo style rooms are on the lower levels facing the golf course that offer a kitchenette and very large floor area.

Restaurant
The Rajawali restaurant serves up the morning breakfast as well as local delicacies throughout the day. There is a Korean restaurant that serves up very authentic Korean BBQ.

The rooms come in tow categories standard and superior.Standards rooms face an airwell in the interior of the building whilst the superior rooms give great views of the resort or the surrounding hills.The rooms are small providing just enough space for one to walk around the beds.The wardrobe is an open concept shelving system with a mini TV.The rooms are very basic with no amenities.Water is available at common points along the corridor.Being cool all year round (18 to 26 celcius), rooms are non airconditioned but a ceiling fan is provided.Bathrooms are with 2 facilities with standing shower and toilet.

Restaurant
Located within the resort are more than 80 food and beverage outlets catering to every taste and whims.From fast food to continental fine dining.

A tourist class property that provides good value for money accomodation on the world largest resort where rooms can be hard to come by.For the category, one cannot be disappointed with the rooms.The superior rooms with a view are the best value.

Centrally located at the peak and in the midst of the activities, the Genting hotel is the premier hotel for visitors at the resort. The hotel is distinguishable from the other hotels from the round observation deck and the red Genting logo on the top. Not that it matters, as most walking will be done indoors where ample signages exists.

Rooms
The Deluxe rooms face out to the either the theme park or carpark.In most evenings, a strong cloud cover descends and visibility is very magically transformed to a winter scene. The rooms are especially large with all amenities are in keeping with a 5 star property.

This is the playground of Malaysia and it can be said that no visit to Malaysia is complete without a trip to the Genting Highlands Resort. There is something for everybody here and there is no reason not to visit. A mere 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, transport is readily available thru GTA or the hotels. The Genting Hotel is the best hotel on the hill and is of a very high standard (the Highland Hotel is reserved for casino members only).The cool hill environment is a quick getaway from the heat and humidity of the city.
