The Goodearth Hotel is conveniently settled in the Adelaide Terrace which is just a short stroll to the Perth Convention Centre, Swan River, and the Bell Tower. It is a suitable place to stay for business travelers and sightseers alike, with the business district, Perth Concert Hall, Playhouse Theatre, and the St. Mary’s Cathedral all less than a kilometre away. It is also worthwhile taking a visit to the Perth Mint – the country’s oldest operating mint.

While you're there

The Goodearth has a range of rooms from studio, executive, and apartment-style which are all spacious and tastefully decorated. Guests love the kitchenette in each room (except hotel room) as it saves them money from buying outside food plus the convenience that comes with it. In-house movies and internet are also available. Adelaide’s on the Terrace Restaurant located at the rooftop offers delicious food along with a wonderful view of the Swan River below. Parking is free although there were issues of limited space available and management has attended to this by advising their guests to park at their sister hotel across the road for a reasonable daily rate.

What to look out for

Most guests commented that the rooms were clean and cozy but others had complained about the beds being on rollers and not very comfortable to sleep in. Noise was also a bit of an issue for other travelers because of the thin walls that separate the rooms, although these are minor complaints and a higher percentage gave positive overall feedback on the hotel for its cleanliness, professional management and staff, and for being the ideal hotel based on value and location.

Be aware that the cheaper hotel rooms do not have any kitchen facilities. Previous guests have recommended to ask for a room away from the lifts or the laundry area.
