The building, originally an ancient 15th century Church, was converted into a patrician “Palazzo” (Villa Marsili) in 1786. The recent renovation of the villa has allowed the recovery of architectural and stylistic features lost over the centuries through earlier restoration. The villa today has 26 rooms (including 3 suites and 6 deluxe rooms) with panoramic views either over the valley or over the ancient town houses. The rooms are all elegantly furnished with many antique period pieces and offer every comfort: Jacuzzi bath, telephone, TV (CNN World and BBC World), internet connection, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
