Hotel Facilities How to get to Silky Oaks Lodge Daintree Silky Oaks Lodge is Located 7km from Mossman, 27km from Port Douglas (20min drive) and 83km north of Cairns airport (1¼ hour drive). Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities with Qantas, Jetstar or Virgin Blue to Cairns. From Cairns, guests have the following transfer options: Self Drive Car rental is also available through all major car rental companies from Cairns Airport and City. The trip takes approximately 90 minutes from Cairns. Private Car Transfer Cairns Limousines offer a meet & greet service from Cairns Airport and the City. Cars depart daily on demand and seat up to three passengers with luggage. Larger vehicles are also available. **Note - Transfers are NOT included in rates advertised.
