For most of the guests, the thing that left the most impression is Mercure Hotel's staff performance. These words were used by the guests to describe the staff: friendly, polite, helpful and nice. The free shuttle bus to the city was also praised by all visitors. Other favourable remarks were directed to the spacious and clean rooms, and the extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The concerns raised by the guests are mostly regarding Mercure hotel's food services. These included not having freshly brewed decaffeinated coffee (an instant coffee was presented instead much to the guest's disappointment), serving food at a slow pace, undercooking a main entree, and offering expensive meals. The hotel's manager appreciated the feedback and promptly addressed such situations by calling the attention of their Food and Beverage manager, including the restaurant staff.

With regard to concerns for meal prices, the menu options main courses range from $28 - $36. However, the hotel also has affordable all day menu, with prices ranging from $14 - $32. The manager also advised that the hotel is currently in the process of procuring decaffeinated coffee beans to better serve the needs of their guests. Overall though, the hotel lives up to its reputation of having excellent customer service, just by the way the issues are resolved by the management.
