Moonlight Bay Suites are located on the edge of Broome township, at the top of a hill (the only hill in town) overlooking Roebuck Bay. It is the ideal location for viewing the ‘Staircase to the Moon’. This natural phenomenon occurs when the rising full moon reflects off the exposed Roebuck Bay mudflats during low tide and creates an optical illusion of a staircase heading towards the moon.

While you’re there

Rooms are self-contained one and two bedroom suites, complete with kitchen, living and dining area. The two bedroom suites are great value for a family. Book into Kiva Beauty and Relaxation Centre for your beauty treatments or a massage. There is a fantastic outdoor swimming pool with spa, a large grassed area which is great for kids to play on and free BBQ facilities for guests. Head over to Matso’s Broome Brewery to taste their famous Ginger Beer and wash it down with an authentic Indian Curry.

A few things to look out for

There is no restaurant on site, however you can order ‘room service delivery’ from Matso’s Broome Brewery for a small fee (around $3).
